Harvard-Amgen Scholars Program
The Harvard-Amgen Scholars Program is a ten-week faculty-mentored residential summer research program for undergraduates in biotechnology. Through this program, a diverse cohort of rising undergraduate juniors and seniors will work in laboratories of faculty across the Harvard campus. In addition to gaining engaging, formative research experience, Harvard-Amgen Scholars will live among over 300 undergraduates residents of the Harvard Summer Undergraduate Research Village community in one of the historic Houses along the Charles River. BRI-SURE Experience
The UCLA Brain Research Institute (BRI) has developed a summer undergraduate research experience (BRI-SURE) pathway program open for students from universities and colleges across the nation. Students taking part in the Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) program and other honors research programs are also encouraged to apply.
BRI-SURE Pathway is an 8-week, intensive summer research- training program for exceptional students interested in pursuing research careers in Neuroscience or Physiology. The program is designed to provide a rigorous, in-depth research experience to prepare participants for top-quality Ph.D. and M.D./Ph.D. graduate programs.
The program is under the administration of the UCLA SPUR (summer programs in undergraduate research) umbrella and participates in many of their campus-wide summer activities culminating in a final summer poster day.
